Nominations for
EAAC
The AFPA Enterprise Agreement Advisory Committee (EACC) is an advisory committee central to AFPA’s direction in the upcoming round of enterprise bargaining. Membership of the committee provides an opportunity to directly engage with member feedback and to help inform the AFPA’s position in bargaining. We encourage all eligible members who can meet the required commitments to nominate. The nominations are now open for three Executive Members and five Zone Convenors or Delegates to sit on the EAAC. This selection process will fill all positions.
The Terms of Reference under which the EAAC will operate can be found here.
To nominate, please provide a pitch of no more than 250 words outlining why you would be a good fit for the role. This may include your relationship with the members you represent and the information they may be able to provide, any experience on forums, committees or other relevant areas, your interest in serving on the committee, and confirmation that you believe you will be able to meet the commitments that arise from the role.
Applications are also open for members interested in serving on the AFPA Zone Committee and Rules Committee. These committees play an important role in supporting the AFPA’s governance and representative functions, and they provide members with an opportunity to contribute to the organisation beyond the EA bargaining process. Members wishing to be considered should submit a brief expression of interest, outlining the committee they are applying for, their relevant experience or interest, and what they believe they can contribute.
If you have any questions about the role or its responsibilities, please contact the AFPA office at afpa@afpa.org.au or call us via (02) 6285 1677.
